Conferences

Programs in Bowen Theory has sponsored two Conferences a year since 1989.  While these conferences have been open to the public, they draw audiences that are mostly made up of mental health professionals.  Family leaders, other health professionals, as well as human systems consultants, and leaders and managers of many kinds of organizations have also attended over the years. The principles of Bowen theory, especially the principles of differentiation of self in the emotional system apply to any and all human endeavors in which there are multiple people who are attached to one another.

The conferences are designed to introduce people to some of the very best thinkers, practitioners, researchers and teachers of Bowen family systems theory and the science that keeps developing in all the disciplines of living systems which inform the ongoing development of theory, and practice based on theory.
